Welcome to the very first look at my next fantasy romance venture… Sunfire & Steel

You might know it as Project Joust, the nickname I’ll be using as I build and reveal this new world. Official titles, character names, and full plot details will be announced in the future.

What Is Sunfire & Steel?

The first book in a sweeping, interconnected fantasy romance told across three books (for now), each following the same core characters through love, rivalry, magic, and the dangerous thrill of the jousting arena. Expect disguises, secrets, forbidden attraction, and knights. For example, our heroine who refuses to live within the limits society sets for her.

A Slow-Burn Reveal

Project Joust is not a slow burn, or closed door series. However, if you read Tide Bound, you know my LOVE for teasing information and so, this project will unfold over time.
I’ll be sharing updates, artwork, behind-the-scenes notes, and sneak peeks as the story develops.

Each book will build on the last, weaving one overarching narrative with romance at its heart and adventure in its bones. You can read them as standalones, but they will be told chronologically. While reading out of order won’t spoil the individual romances,
